Originally trained in Fashion Design at Portsmouth College of Art, Lesley has 38 years of experience in Fashion.
Lesley creates gowns with machine embroidered detail, personalised to the clients own theme.Taking inspiration from history nature and fantasy, she works mostly in silk.
Lesley's designs are unique and individual, made to measure to the clients specifications. As well as Bridal and evening gowns, Christening gowns and elaborate Waistcoats are also made.
Lesley's Creative Embroidery is another aspect of her work, also inspired by historic, nature and fantasy themes. This work is generally made for exhibition, but also by commision; wall art, small bags and purses, boxes and other items are made.She also runs private Workshops and Courses in this area (workshops also in pattern cutting and garment construction).
Lesley has exhibited work in museums, galleries and national exhibitions, and won awards for Wearable Art and Creative Textiles.
