Lesley runs private Workshops and Courses in Creative Embroidery, Pattern cutting and Dressmaking.
Originally trained in Fashion Design at Portsmouth College of Art, Lesley has 40 years of experience in Fashion, and 15 years in Creative embroidery.
Lesley designs and creates garments with machine embroidered detail, Taking inspiration from history nature and fantasy, she works mostly in silk. Lesley's designs are unique, individual and made to measure only.
Lesley's Creative Embroidery is inspired by historic, nature and fantasy themes. This work is generally made for exhibition, but also by commision; Wearable Art, Wall Art, Bags and Purses, Textile Jewellery, Boxes and other items are made.
Lesley has exhibited work in museums, galleries and national exhibitions, and won awards for Wearable Art and Creative Textiles.
Lesley's Workshops and Courses are now taking up most of her time, so the production of made to order garments is limited. She runs an Open Studio once a year where you can see and purchase her work, or book a workshop. Details of this years Open Studio will be available in March.

Comming Soon - Wednesday Afternoon Workshops
After Easter Lesley will be running modular Workshops on a Wednesday afternoon, they will cover a variety of subjects from Dressmaking to Creative Embroidery; duration - three to four weeks for each subject.
